The Heart of Life by John Mayer
I hate to see you cry
Lying there in that position
There's things you need to hear
So turn off your tears
And listen
Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No it wont all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good
You know, it's nothing new
Bad news never had good timing
But then, the circle of your friends
Will defend the silver lining
Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No it won't all go the way it should But I know the heart of life is good
Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No it wont all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good

"You really should start your own Blog"
" You really should start your own Blog!" She said. "You can really meet a lot of incredible people this way. I have...." and she went on to tell me about all the incredible people she has met since starting her own Blog. So, I figured what the heck.So here is my first Blog entry. What is it? It is a picture of me that I posed for my girlfriend, Janet, at the time. She is an amazing painter to this day, and I like to think that we are still friends, though we haven't been a couple for ten years! It hangs in a dome full of seven Angel paintings that she produced in the resoration of the Walt Disney/New Amsterdam Theater on 42nd and Broadway in NYC. Three male angels, four females. I am the body model for all three male images, but my face is only on this one. Two other lucky men close to her life also got the honor to be "angelified" along side me!
It's rather typical for me to meet such incredible women in my life whom I hope I have inspired and who inspire me back; Much like my meeting with the "oh so talented" tart whom many of you know as "CheapTart". She is a brilliantly creative woman whom I have had the pleasure and luck to have crossed paths with in my life, and her Blog, for those who haven't been there, is quite light, lovely, girly, fun beautiful and deep . And so is she! She has lots and lots of photos, drawings, prose, poetry and song lyrics, ad infinitum on her Blog, and also on her Flickr site, that are worth gazing upon.
Quite a body of work in the making. Quite a woman!
Thank you "Tart" for your inspiration and gentle persuasion ! Now we'll just see where this thing goes from here!
